Hazakyah has an over 40-year history of being a standout teacher in highschools, universities, and private institutions in France, Israel, Korea, Senegal, USA, and the Dominican Republic. Through these institutions and privately, Hazakyah has worked successfully, and with distinction, with thousands of students, business people, and government employees from over fifty countries. He has a M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Ball State University in Indiana, USA. While at Ball State Hazakyah was a graduate teaching assistant, was elected president of the African Student Association, was included in the 1995 edition of Whose Who In American Colleges and Universities, and was selected to be an honorary member and mentor of the Ball State Chapter of Golden Key Honor Society based on his commitment to "diversity and academic excellence".
